Sub Pop 200 - Sub Pop 200 is a compilation released in the early days of the Seattle grunge scene (December 1988). It features songs (many of them first releases and otherwise unattainable) from Tad, The Fluid, Nirvana, Steven Jesse Bernstein, Mudhoney, The Walkabouts, Terry Lee Hale, Soundgarden, Green River, Fastbacks, Blood Circus, Swallow, Chemistry Set, Girl Trouble, The Nights and Days, Cat Butt, Beat Happening, Screaming Trees, Steve Fisk and The Thrown Ups.

Origamic architecture - Origamic architecture involves the three-dimensional reproduction of architecture, geometric patterns, and everyday objects, on various scales, using cut-out and folded paper, usually thin cardboard. Visually, these creations are comparable to intricate 'pop-ups', indeed, some works are deliberately engineered to possess 'pop-up'-like properties.

Pop-pop - pop-pop is an embellished Arkanoid-style game. Released in 2002 by Ambrosia Software, pop-pop was entered into the MacWorld Game Hall of Fame for that year.

Pop art brilliantly blended the banal pop ups and the mythic, creating the most genuinely popular movement in modern art. The many varieties of Pop inspired a younger generation of artists, including Haring, Koons, Opie, pop ups and Salle, who produced work that was deeply indebted to Pop's attitudes pop ups and form.
